A few weeks ago, after she’d sent a flower-themed thank-you card the day before, my friend Liz asked me if I’d ever thought about printing cards with my floral portraits. Her question reminded me that Teri had also mentioned the idea in the not-too-distant past. And I wasn’t about to let a fantastic suggestion escape me twice.
A few days later, I sat down to design a small limited series of floral notecards.
And what, you might ask, is spread out on the table in front of me? Twenty-five sets of beautiful floral notecards, six cards in each set, every one printed on thick metallic pearl paper and ready for just the type of intimate ink sentiments that are exchanged by the civilized literati who still care enough to scrawl greetings or condolences or thank-yous or simple chit-chat (the inside is blank, after all, to allow for complete freedom of expression).
These cards will be making their debut this Saturday (9/28/2013) at Teri and Jayne’s salon (Rock, PaPer, Scissors Salon) as (a very small) part of their Holiday Open House. They’ll be on sale for $20 per set.
