As I explained in my last post, I bought a bunch of nigella from one of the vendors at an Omaha farmers' market last weekend. It's a flower of many dramatic faces, and here's another example.
This is the very first wildflower I've found this spring, a delicate little point of color discovered on a walk up the hill with my wife and daughter. I have no idea what type of flower it is, but maybe that's a good thing. Knowing too much can be burdensome, I'm told.
